A Review Of The 2004 Movie Crash

Crash, the 2004 film, is a low-budget film highly acclaimed. It stars some top actresses and actors. The film focuses on the lives of just a few people over a 36-hour period. It was a compelling drama that revealed a lot about the lives of a few people in Los Angeles, as well as what is happening around the world in relation to social and racial tensions that we experience in our daily life.

The film follows several characters as they move between different stories. The film features two police officers who have a sexual relationship. One of them is prone to sex with another after he was involved in an accident that resulted in him being in a car crash with an Asian woman. The main event of the movie is the car crash, which connects the characters all throughout. Graham Waters, a male police officer, is what would be considered the “Main Character”. His story is interwoven with the stories of many other characters. There is the lawyer who uses racial prejudice to his advantage and whose wife views race differently after she was carjacked two times by African American men. The film also shows how the 2 African American men dealt with racial stereotypes today. It did not exceed the 2 hours mark, at 1 hour 55 minutes. It did not adhere to the Hollywood narrative style. The film flipped between multiple storylines throughout and never ended with a clear conclusion. A movie with this many star actors and actresses is rare, especially considering the film’s small budget. Paul Haggis is an actor and director. The film features high-profile stars like Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and Terrence Harding, along with Sandra Bullock and Thandie Newton.

The director made a variety of camera angles and lighting choices throughout the movie. One scene featuring the father and daughter sitting under a dining table had close-up shots taken and angles with a yellow light to accompany them. Another scene that featured the couple being pulled over at midnight had close-up photos between them. It was dark and had low lighting. The movie had a great soundtrack that matched the plot. The movie had a dark, thrilling soundtrack.

This film is classified under the film genre of drama. Many stories revolve around discrimination and racism. Each character experiences different emotions.

Despite the star power and accolades, I wouldn’t recommend the film to anyone. It was too confusing to follow the various storylines at times. It was interesting to be able to watch the movie without being affected by Racism. It was difficult to follow the movie at times because it kept switching between characters stories, which made it hard for me to understand what was happening. It was well-directed and the story is timeless. Add in the stars and I found it difficult to follow.
